Clover Love Canada is happy to announce that we will be making a donation at the end of Fall'Inter to Mattie's Place in Toronto. Fifty cents ($0.50) from the purchase of each Fall'Inter line candle and wax melt will be donated to this volunteer run organization, which supports pets and people.
We have chosen to support this organization for the amazing work they do supporting Canadian pets and in particular the work they do with dogs. The choice to contribute to this type of organization (when there are so many people and charities in need), links back to Clover Love Canada's namesake, Clover. Clover was Denise's beloved English Bulldog who unexpectedly passed earlier this year during the launch of our business.
When Denise and I started Clove Love Canada, one of the goals we identified individually and then collectively, was to give back to our local communities and causes we cared about. As a result, 'Give' became one of our small business values: Learn, Love, Give. Our Fall'Inter contribution will be the second community donation we make since the launch of Clover Love Canada in April 2023. Earlier this year we were happy to donate a candle and care gift basket to the Ben Devito Memorial Golf Tournament, which Denise has personal ties with.
