About the 6ix, Toronto, ON

The 6ix (also ‘The Six’ or ‘The 6’) was popularized in 2015/16 by Toronto born musician, Drake who then released his album ‘Views from the 6.’  There is much historical reference that goes into the title the 6ix however Toronto’s popular area codes 416/647 and the six municipalities that make up Toronto are often cited as sources.
